UPSWING AFRICA MINISTRIES_ UGANDA 

 We are a non-profit and non-goverment charity organisation in Africa (Uganda).
Our core values are highly vested in helping the needy children of Christ like the orphans and other vulnerable people in the Communities where we operate (Which is Mityana, Iganga and Jinja as of today). Our programs and activities are designed to be a catalyst that helps communities and orphan children reach their desired goals and fulfill their calling from God.

We uplift, rejuvenate, support, empower, and give a shoulder for all needy/vulnerable children of  Christ to lean on (Isaiah 41:13). We always wear a full armor of Jesus Christ and from which we get strong and be able to help others.

 Upswing Africa Ministry seeks to address causes and solutions to poverty and moral decadence in societies through community outreaches for sensitisation about the word of God, self employment, hygiene/sanitation, relief and advocacy. 

Over 25 registered children benefit from Upswing Africa Ministry through access to education, moral and spiritial support, food and basic necessities, clean and safe water  among others and the same is done to not only the registered children (orphans) but to the entire needy community whenever possible. 

'Upswing African child' in Uganda started in the early 2018 to support and change the mindset of children, self-motivated youths, single and young mothers and the general public of vulnerable people but the calling of God centred most in helping these little ones(kids) of Christ reach their dreams and the lasting change starts with your donation. (Proverbs 19-17)

When you donate to us now, you’ll be meeting basic necessities of Jesus' children for both today and tomorrow. You will also be helping vulnerable people rebuild in the wake of disasters and empowering entire communities to lift themselves out of poverty and more so giving them a chance to living longer and getting to know more about God.

Your prayers and donations will help kids and vulnerable families tackle the big issues that keep them in poverty, equipping them to thrive with reliable access to basics like clean water, nutrition, healthcare, education, and more.
Inspired by Jesus’ love, we work shoulder to shoulder with families and local leaders, empowering people to create change that lasts so they can stand confidently on their own.

In the last 2 years, we have together impacted the lives of over 100 vulnerable children and over 37 vulnerable adults by tackling the root causes of poverty, misery and ignorance. Be part of this good move and tap into the blessing today by providing life-saving help like:
Clean and safe drinking water, sanitation and hygiene solutions, school fees and scholastic materials, books of God for spiritual growth, day-to-day essential healthcare for mostly young mothers and kids, shelter and protectection for kids and other vulnerables against exploitation, emergency assistance after disasters and many more others.

As we all know that by helping the needy, we are lending to Christ, so we do give moral, financial, and spiritual advise to the needy, and on the hand, we equip the self-motivated youths with skills that better up their lives in the day-to-day living.

Some of these youths are struggling young and single mothers, unemployed youths, ministers in churches of Christ, and employed youths who need more skills that one of us could be having. We embrace sharing of knowledge at all levels so as to help each other grow professionally, socially, and spiritually. 

Some of the lessons and skills that we extend to the needy and self-motivated brothers/sisters in the Communities are: 
1. Art & crafts skills
2. ICT maintenance and usage skills
3. Business startup and project planning/management
4. Bible study and voice lessons to ministers who sing for Christ.

Apart from orphans, some of the other vulnerable people that we support are the PWD'S, poor children, young/single mothers, ministers in churches, school dropouts who need to join back, unemployed but self-driven youths, and even employed youths who need more skills to better upswing their career and spiritual profile.

WHY DO WE HELP THE NEEDY…….You may be asking your self this question can here is why…..

Among other many reasons why we help the needy is because even our Lord Jesus Christ was not willing to forsake these poor and needy people as its written in Isaiah 41:17

The overall goal of this ministry is to improve the personal, emotional, spiritual, social well-being, and educational status of vulnerable people and self-motivated youths for their life time or until when the person is able to survive without our help.

 Giving monthly or weekly donations is the simple way to make a difference in these people's lives.
But monthly giving is the most effective way to build lasting change for children and families. It lowers costs, which means more of your gift helps kids!. Your donations will be delivering consistent and long-term solutions to help communities become self-sufficient. Stewardship is an integral part of everything we do. In rare cases where donations exceed what is needed, or where local conditions prevent program implementation, we redirect funds to similar activities to help children and families in need.
The multiplying effect from grants and donated goods may change throughout the year on identical or similar offers due to variations in the start and end dates of donor grants and our programs.

Note: In cases where we get offline on some of our social media sites, our email address (upswingafrica@gmail.com) still stands because it doesn't need OTT to be accessed as the case is for other social networks.
